How It Works

Why Charter? What is the current method of jet charter?

Owning a multi-million dollar jet aircraft is a dream, even for major corporations and wealthy individuals. This resulted in the creation of Jet charter industry, where short use of a jet could be arranged  for a fee.

The owner of the jet, and also the predominant user, positions the jet at specific airports under the management of an Australian licensed charter operator. When a jet is chartered it does not fly one way but returns to its base after each charter flight. Therefore all charter flights are paid for as return flights.

For example, If a "couple" or a "business" wants to charter a jet aircraft, they would contact a jet charter firm and secure a jet as a casual "one off" charter and pay full retail for a "return flight". This is the most expensive method of securing a jet charter. Usage dictates the discount. More use - More discount!

The same "couple" or "business" can also secure a "jet card" that works just like a debit card that it can be credited with between $50,000 to $1 million dollars. This allows for pricing discounts based on use/spend.

The NEW way is to be a member of Premier Jets. Premier knows exactly when an aircraft is travelling a one way, as an empty leg or sitting idle. Premier posts these flights and offers unique "one off" member jet charters allowing members to achieve significant discounts.

How Premier Works

Premier has established a network of charter providers world wide that have "one way", "idle" or " empty leg" jet charter opportunities where a 50 to 70% discounts can be achieved, which translates into significant savings.

Premier has pre-negotiated these opportunties for it's member's. These opportunities can be further REDUCED even further on a pro-rata basis between club members sharing these charter opportunities.

Through the club you are made aware of these "one way", "idle" or " empty leg" jet charter  opportunities daily by email or posted on the members section of Premier's web site. Premier member's can choose to take up seats on another members charter or create their own itinerary on their schedule and timing.

Premier members can view these regularily updated postings and choose any of the many itineraries avalable, which they may wish to join in. By sharing in your private itinerary it reduces your flight costs on a "pro-rata" basis, based on the number of seats which can be reserved by other Premier members (on your flight).

What is a One way or Empty Leg charter?

1.     If a client charters a Private Jet to fly to a destination, but does not wish to return within 2-3 days, then the Jet will often/normally come back to it's base empty or sit idle at it's destination. Large volumes of Private Jet flights can depart or return to their starting destination (base) empty. This is known as a "One Way" or “Empty Leg”.

Thanks to a brand new system set up by Premier, members will be advised of all the Member posted itineraries, and One way/Empty Leg flights with a specially discounted charter price. Premier will even assist to match one way charters to create a round trip for members. Premier's charter price is generally 50% to 70% less then the normal rate charged. These one way/empty legs or idle aircraft discounts will then be posted and club members can charter an entire jet aircraft, or share in a particular posted flight and travel for a fraction of the normal charter price.

2.      Approximately 70% of Empty Leg bookings internationally operate successfully.

3.   Premier will charter a jet to achieve member itineraries when there is 100% reservations of available seats on a members posted itinerary.
